 DEMERITS OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN COMMUNICATION

   Via the internet that came into our lives in 1993, we have taken the first step in terms of adapting to the technological age. Along with this, our lives are subjected to an alteration in no small measure; for better or worse. One of the reflections of this conversion is the social media. Well, since the social media has come into our lives, how many of us can make a real communication? In this sense, I will be touching on the handicaps upon the communication which covers a large part of our lifes.

   First of all, as all we know, social media destroys our social relationships. While a real communication is transmitting the one's emotions and thoughts through the body language, eye contact, voice tone and the addressing, on the communication based upon social media, these factors are missing. At the same time, in understanding to one another, these things which are of vital importance, determine our satisfactoriness in our way of constructing connection in daily life. Some prominent psychologists bring forward the connection between our communications with people and our inner peace, asserting that our good ties made with the others, feed us sentimentally and its contribution to our happiness is unquestionable. Also, with the substitution of interpersonal and cross-media communication, individuals have become introverted and lonely day by day. And thus, this eventuates in a society consisting of the persons who are self-enclosed and close to interactivity.

   Second of all, besides the downsides of social media about the healthy communications, there are quite reverse effects in interpersonal links like domestic, marriage and friendship. We see, hear and experience that the external factors are harmful even for quite blissful relationships. Nevertheless, even only the existence of the smart phone, debilitates our focusing to the person that we are talking. To make clear with an example, being bothered by our smart phones in a special dinner can affect our attitudes adversely. Or likewise, having the company of mobile devices in a room can be enough to ruin the ability of emotional intimacy between the couples. Considering all of them, it can be inevitable that it results in some parental discords, marriage problems and interpersonal disagreements.

   To make long story short, though it may have a good sides, it is beyond dispute and irrefutable that social media can be so destructive upon our mode of interactions that its usage may culminate in very subversive cases, as I provided with some relevant examples. At this point, it is reasonable to attaching importance to this matter so that we do not experience such mentioned maleficent sides.

A REVIEW OF A PASSAGE TO INDIA E.M Forster was born in 1879 and died in 1970. During his lifetime, he wrote novels, short stories and essays. He ha s the decoration of merit and is one of the most important represen t atives of the modernist motion in England  for he is one of the founders of the modern novel movement . The Themes of Love, Fear and Jealousy in   Austen’s Pride and Prejudice       Jane Austen is a British novel writer who born in 16 December 1775 in Hampshire and is one of the powerful writers of the world literature. She embarks on modern novel insight in 18th century with plain a nd explicit expression, ironic perspective to the social incidents and strong women characters.
